legal limit for headlights/high beams

what is the legal limit for HID lights? 8,000/10,000 ??

think it depends on the state you in, but who really checks how bright they are during inspection ;)

i live in NC. and i actually need to know for my friend who has a 95 integra.

I have 100w low and 130w highs and i think thee like a 6k-8k color ( cant remember, but there showroom bulbs. I have never had a problem with them with the law.

The ones I've seen all boast about being brand name. This guy on Ebay has nothing to back that up except by repeating the word "quality".

I don't know about the rest of the country but here in Texas its not requiered during an inspecition to check how intense the lights are just as long as you have them and they are in working order is all.
