Between 19 credit hours at school, 1 fulltime job for medical, and a partime job to pay the bills, I'm kinda slow at responding. :D
I do have a pair, and I had gotten them from my GM dealer here in Hawaii about a year and a half ago. It was their last set. GM parts direct used to have them about as recent as a year ago, but they are all out.
Being that they are hard to find, and you probably won't pull up next to someone in your hometown with them as well, I'd let them go for about 250.
EDIT: Found GM's list price to be $161 each when they had them.
I also have a sheet that I'd downloaded a while ago that tells how to wire them for the 93-96 cars, if I dig it up I'll toss it in too.

quote:
Originally posted by 98_Roadster: You said you had to wire them up for the 93-96 cars? Are they made for the '98 and up?

They are made for the 93-96 cars that were outside of the united states, and as such they were required to have an amber turn signal.
The 93-96 in America do not have amber turn signals, so that is why the export taillamps are different. They have the wiring that came out for the 97+ model year.
At this time (97+) the expot lamps and the domestic taillamps were the same. They both had amber turn signals.
In summary....for 93-96 applications you need the 97+ taillight wiring harness. Get a used one its not that expensive. speed automotive should be able to hook you up.
any other ?

The driver-side lamp(P/N: 5978079) is still available at gmpartsdirect.com for $99.60. It's the passenger-side (P/N: 5978080) that'll take some time to find.
There's a company name ExportStyle that e-mailed me this morning and said they have some left. You can reach them at exportstyle@yahoo.com or (919)454-5957.
Not sure about Export lights but http://www.rksport.com has clear taillights for the camaro as well as many other blackouts/alternative lights you can put on your car. Check em out.
