How much exactly will this "lower" the car? I think ground effects would really finish off the looks of my car but I'm a bit worried about ground clearance.
These are the ground effects I'm looking at:
from whe i remeber seeing that kit that you were talking about it will lower it 2-3 inches. but with that kit you have to get another peice to put on the air dam so the car gets enough air flow since the kit blockes the front. And the air dam will defanitly scrape as i hear it
Yeah, the new air dam that you have to have scrapes almost everywhere. I really don't worry about that too much, the only thing I worry about is the front bodykit piece. It isn't extremely low but as a comparison it is lower than the top of a curb, therefore I have to back into a lot of spots or inch up very slowly. But the looks of this body kit out weighs the bad side.

yeah but everyone and there brothers have that kit it gets real old fast
I got the WW GFX on my 97. I haven't had any clearence problems with it. The only big problem I had was that the air deflector that comes with the kit stick out way too much. Every little bump I'd hear a scrape. I cut about 3 inches of it off and haven't had a problem since.
I am alot more careful when it comes to going up steep ramps up and/or down, aka coming at an angle to them.

As long as your car isnt bagged, it will work just fine, I have both and have no problems... well I did at first, but now that I'm used to it, its all good.
The GFX you picked out are way better than those predator ones IMO.

RSFIREDOG your car is dropped? in the pics it dosnt really look any differnt than mine. I guess it must just be the pic. I was thinking of droping mine but i thouhgt id scrape. What springs did you use?
Im thinking there are different suspension packages that come from the factory (there are like 5 different RPO codes for suspension) and some might be factory lower than others. I know my friend has an 02 and it looks like its 4WD or something; Yet I have another friend with a 98 and its almost the same as mine..
Who knows though...
