• ADVANTAGES TO CLAYBAR

My car is gett'n really dirty. i wash it once every other week. and wax it once a month.

the only thing, after i wash and wax it.. its not exactly SMOOTH. well..its smooth, i can slide right off it if i sat on the hood. but its bumpy.

im gonna wash and wax my car sometime this week and im wondering if using MOTHERS claybar treatment and whatnot will get rid of the sandy texture.

thx
-Tyler

Yes the clay will get rid of all the roughness. I have used other clay bars and like "clay magic" the best. Its the blue clay bar You car will be as smooth as glass afterwards!

a clay bar is a clay bar, you do it before you wax because it strips all wax and contaminants off the paint...you spray a lubricant on the paint then rub the clay bar over the paint, it works VERY well, makes the car shinier and very smooth...

you wax your car once a month, thats a lot, especially if you don't strip the wax before you put a fresh coat on. that alone will make your car look dull, too much wax is a bad thing, hides the paint

I love clay bars

They make the car feel & look so nice

And keep washing with dishwash, good stuff, you don't want wax on the car.

Def. like mothers. Just used it yesterday. Doesn't stick to the car if you don't lubricate it enough and does a wonderful job removing contaminants.

?????
I always thought that the dishwashing liquid was bad for the clear coat on the car. Was I mistaken??? I know it shines her like hell, but I was under the impression that it's not good

Yes dishwashing liquid is very bad for the car! If you use it all the time. It strips your car of any protectant you have. Its very harsh. You also always want to use the clay bar with a lubricant.

I dont use wax and do stand by Zaino. I have used all kinds of stuff and its by far the best. Its not a wax but a polish. Yes it's expensive but worth it. I used it all the time on my '94 Firebird and everyone said it was one of the nicest, in best condition car of that year they'd ever seen being a daily driver and not kept in the garage

Here's a good pic showing how well it works!
