No taste hehe, my mecham hood makes my firebird the best looking and most original ive ever seen. Ive got a wings west w-type waiting to be installed as well. Mecham IMO is the best looking hoo out there and if u have NBM it looks so freaking sick. FYI that pick doesnt do it justice whatsoever.

firebird yes, camaro no. Just like the damn ws6 style hood for the camaro is ugly.I never said yuck to the firebird one.

oic hehe perhaps I should have read the post better [img]graemlins/dunce.gif[/img] Mecham on a firebird = [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img] mecham firebird hood on a camaro = [img]graemlins/thumbsdown.gif[/img]

The mecham hood for the firebird sets all kinds of different angles for the light to reflect off giving it a different look than the ones without the hood. I like it very much and my engine seems to run cooler (4-point plenum fed heat extractors?) but maybe that is just my imagination.


As I look at it, it doesnt look so bad actually. I personally wouldnt buy it for my maro but it doesnt look half bad.

I believe the mecham hood for the firebird and the Z29 hood from mecham for the camaro are different from each other. Simular with the heat extractors though but the Z29 hood has a type of SS scoop in the front. I'm also wanting one for my 93-97 maro. I will say though it's not for everyone and your negitave opinion is what makes it original for the rest of us.
