Nice wheels....ON A FORD. If you ask me and this is JUST my opinion its kinda tacky to put ford wheels on a GM product. No offense or anything. There are a TON of alternatives that are JUST as nice and just as well priced. Just my .02

good point.. it would be funny seeing a GT with SS wheels lol..but theyre the typical 5 Spoke style that i really like. Those Torque Thryst 2s are a lot of bucks..i still like them tho.. ey does anyone know whats the difference between Polished and silver..also is 17 X 8 too small??

Bro, I swear, I beg you not to put those piece of sh!t mustang rims on your car, who gives a f*ck how cheap they are. Putting those on would be like an insult to Camaro's everywhere. Do some searching, be patient. Call places like speed automotive and see if you can get some SS rims if that's what you want. Personally I like to look different and better than everyone else so I spent 2 grand on some Italiano bellisimo Arelli rims. As for the size 8 is kind of a small width, you want atleast 9 or 9 1/2. Try Pep Boys or something or even Sears, they both have cheap rims. They don't appeal to me but they might be alright for you.

Rims are a big thing and if you buy crappy ones it's going to make your car look crappy. Think about when you see a car with some ugly rims. The car might look good with regular rims but now the car looks horrible because of the rims. Rims make a big impact on the appearence of your car. You don't want to go wrong in that area.

I also think they don't look that bad, but I wouldn't buy them for my T/A. But hey if you decide to get them at least put some bowtie centercap decals to cover that cobra logo.

Well if you like them then get them but dont buy them simply because they are cheap. I have seen several birds with replica Cobra rims including a WS6. I personally dont like them and see nothing speical with them but if you like them and dont care that you'll get flak from other F-body owners and maybe some stang owners then buy them.

As for the Cobra center cap pic, if you do get them just get a decal made for you. I got some Firebird emblems for my rims, though I never put them. They look really cool and I'm sure a nice bowtie emblem could be made for you.

You don't need to worry about the Cobra center cap since the Cobra R wheels won't fit the F-Body (lug spacing is different). However, the Cobra R sytle wheel is actually the #280 Milan style wheel and it is available for F-bodies at Performance Wheel Outlet.

Here's more pictures of the same wheel with the exception of added scallops...
