• Annoying imperfection......

On my passenger side where the front fender meets the door, the plastic sticks out, making the line look less smooth. I've seen this on other Camaros, anyone else have this problem? Dammit, its a 2002, it shouldn't have this problem. I already got a broken mirror, c'mon GM!!!

Have you or anyone jacked the car up. That usually happens when its jacked in the wrong place (its a block in my car). It happened to me years ago. It can be fixed with a hammer and piece of wood (and a good cloth). Sounds scary i know, but we did mine at the bodyshop like that.

Happened to me after a week. I took it back to the place that jacked it up & they said "it happens all the time", he used a big set of vice grips to straighten the metal out.

i have that problem on my driver side fender on my 99 bird. Its because the bracket underneath the car where your fender bolts up to is bent from hitting something. At least i know thats why mine doesnt line up perfect.

Have a look right in fromt of the door underneath the car, you will see that the fender rolls under the car kinda and is bolted to a bracket. Im betting that that bracket is bent for you. ;)

Yup, has happened to me many times.
They jack on the fender tabs instead of the sub frames. Looks worse with the Trans Am b/c of the ground effects. I just fixed it and it happened again.

Now I have to crawl under there and fix it again  .

I took the Camaro to the dealer a few hours ago for this problem. The strange thing is that most of the fender lines up perfectly. The only part that isn't aligned right is the curved part at the top where it meets the mirror. It's pushed out and doesn't line up right.

Could this be caused by the bottom part being bent? It doesn't look like it could, because it's just at the top. Every other spot except for where it curves to line up with the mirror is perfect.

there's a bolt there when you open the door that you should be able to see

you loosen the bolt a bit, then move the panel over and tighten the bolt again.

It's right there by the mirror when you look. I know my instructions are kind of vague, but you should be able to see what I mean when you look

I had to do this to my car aswell.
