Yeah..This is a normal problem with tinting the back window of a Camaro. A lot of people I know with Camaros have the same problem...but there are remedies to the problem. You could put a peice of black vinyl over it..(need to take tint off, and put it under) I got a lifetime warranty with my tints, and they said they would do that for me. Looks much better when it's fixed 94 Camaro 3.4 A4
T-Tops
In the process of an LS1 swap.

you could do that... OR
get a small rubber thing at home depot. It looks like a box cutter kind of. Small and rubber. Go diagonally through all the dots, making Crosses, like 'X's throught the dots. This made mine look perfect! Basically it pushed the tint down onto the glass. you might have to wait until some of the water dries from in between the matrix but it works.
The rubber tool was found in the paint section, I dont know what its really used for. I forget what they sales guy called it too. Anyway, look around, I promise its under $5, and looks better than a vinyl strip.
look ma, no blubbles

They are there to disperse the heat through the window on a hot day so the window doesnt expand. They are not there just for show.2002 Camaro...It\'s not very fast but it looks good.

I had a local shop install a sunroof in my pickup and it came with that dot matrix stuff. They told me they could tint it for an xtra $15. I went ahead with it and they tinted right on top of the stuff no problem it stayed for 2yrs until I sold the truck for all i know it's still there.96 Camaro RS A4 T-tops
Loudmouth
and other audio mods

You can also use a tennis ball. It works the same way like the rubber thingy Mr.Coffee used. His actually looks better than mine. So you might want to go for the rubber thingy.1999 Silverado- Bagged, colormatched and rollin on stock chrome 16\'s
Make love not war, hell do both, get married

On SOME models. On others, they ARE just for show. They are baked onto the glass between 850 & 1000 degrees in a tempering oven right before the window is shaped. The paint used is almost $5000 a QUART and is applied in an area called a screening room. This is the same place where ALL window paint is applied. It's an enamel blend. Here is an intresting fact that most people don't know: ALL windshields are made from 2 pieces of thin glass with a piece of laminate between them. The tinted sunstrip at the top of most windshields is actually a dyed area of that plastic. Oh......I am a senior Line Operator at United L&N Glass. We make 95% of the glass for ALL car brands sold in North America excluding exotics. We also make the F-body glass (which I get for free btw) We just picked up a Lexus line this month.
The glass we ship to car manufactures is the best stuff we make. The glass we sell to aftermarket companies has ALOT of small defects in them such as scratches, chips, and vents. NEVER EVER pay full price for replacement glass. A $500 windshield is made using $40 worth of parts and labor (on average) Almost all glass companies will come waaaay down if you tell them you found the same window cheaper somewhere else. Just a heads up. We have played around at work with reject glass, and NO ONE has come up with a way to completely remove the dot matrix without leaving residue. We did find a way to tint a windshield from in between the two pieces of glass. It looked awsome. If ANYONE has a question about auto glass, let me know! nitrox28@hotmail.com

http://www.cardomain.com/id/nitroxxx28
