Black-outs

I've got a Black '96 Camaro with T-tops, I want to get the windows tinted and put black-outs on all the lights. What do you guys think?

Would look good. blackouts are a nice touch. i got them on my red 96 firebird and they look sweet. go for it. with the tint saty the same shade all the way around.

whered u get them firebird blackouts? My buddy has a 94 and he wants em, but we cant find em anywhere..thanks..even tho i lovethose Eagles 97BIRD, I ordered the Cobra replicas..=D see ya

The company that makes the firebird blackouts is www.autoventshade.com. You might go to there site they have dealers. I forgot the dealer I went through but it was in New Jersey. I got em for 46 shipped.

I used to like black outs, until I kept getting hell about them from the cops. they are illegal everywhere.

check around to see if your cops are picky about them. they are where i am.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they are illegal everywhere... and if you look suspicious or the cops get real bored its just one more thing they can pull you over for.

I'd turn on my lights, but not head lights. That way they can't really tell. As far as parking on the streets, I'd take them off to avoid any tickets at night(because they don't shine).

Ive had my blackouts rear/front for almost as long as ive had my car..almost a year. Cops never told me anything..i live on the same street as a police station and see them all day everyday. I think cuz we have DRL's, they wont sweat you too much. My brother got pulled over in my car by a moto cop and didnt mention anything of it.. and YES light shines through fairly well..and i dont see why they would mess with you during the day because your lights arent on anyway.. good luck.
