• Alright, so here's my neon setup

Got some neons in the back, under the seats, and in the vents. They're all wired to my stereo, and my stereo only goes off when I open the doors, therefore the neons don't go off when I turn out my headlights or turn off my ignition. I have a POWER KILL SWITCH which kills all the lights at once when I switch it into the OFF position. I also have a console with three seperate kill switches: one for the vents, one for the seats, and one for the rear. A seperate dimmer is off to the side of the stereo, which I use to adjust all the neon brightness at once, so I can match my mood.

Now how do I do this? Every word of this is my vision, except for the "stereo only turns off when doors are opened" thing which already exists. So, how do I wire this thing up? Sounds a bit complicated. Will I need a few fuse boxes or what?

You're going to need one hefty potentiometer for that kind of current.

It's hard to dim neons and fluorescents.

I'd suggest an LM317T variable voltage regulator. See how well that works. Make sure the voltage reg is attached to a good heat sink to dissipate all that extra energy.
