I wanted to get some tips that look like this, and jegs sells them for about 30 bucks each.. not bad at all since the other ones I wanted that were Megs were 120 EACH! Just a little too much for me ;) .... how do you think these would look on a new 2002 Silver Metallic Firebird's dual exhaust? I have sports and appearance packages.

Hey There Skapimp! Those tips look great! I myself am ordering 2 polished Z28 tips cuz im bored with mine. The tips look like this...
I think Jeff is the only one with them..look really mean! ok good luck.
2003 Fire Red Dakota R/T 5.9
V-Force Exhaust
Custom Cold Air Intake
I love them both! I really want quad tips though. Is there any way to take off those Hooker emblems? I wouldn't want to have Hooker emblems if I don't have a Hooker exhaust system.
A perefect way to finish off your exhaust system. Available with or without resonators, these tips feature a combination of black powdercoating, high luster chrome and a heat resistant Hooker decal to give your exhaust the classic finish it deserves.
That's the description on it @ Jegs.com... so I'm thinking you can take it off.. right?

wow i love those hooker tips. i had been looking for single 3in tips, but nothing beats the look of dual tips. hey skapimp did you end up putting those on your car. I have a silver car also so i would love to see how it looked.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK
I haven't put 'em on yet.. but I will soon... when I do I'll send you a pic. They'll be on in the next month for sure though. I REALLY hate the look of the stock tips.

resonators are for really loud engines.. they muffle sound I believe.. and you have to weld on tips... but its not bad.. two tips for 60 and then another 40 for install.. I think its worth it.. adn the decal you can't take off I don't think.
