  • Claying your car

I want to clay my car and I have the original clay (tm) with the lubricant. Now if I clay my car after I wash it. Then should I polish and wax it ...can anyone go into detail. I want to get a nice clean black car tomorrow =)

Wash and dry it good. Then use the lubricant with the claybar until the surface is smooth. Afterwards YES you should put a couple coats of wax on. It helps alot, and since you are claying the car there will not be any wax on there anymore.

Here is a couple pics of mine after using the clay bar:

The clay bar is nice, I always use a big buffer though....takes alot of the time and work out of it, and turns out better.....oh and dont clay your car too many times, along with the wax it also strips a little bit of clearcoat ;)
