Prom Tommorow need some cleanin help

ok, i wash and wax my car regularly, and polish my rims, check sig. im gonnna wash and wax it tommorow my lil sis is takin it too prom, but i need some suggestions on my rims to get them nice, i have some mothers aluminum polish, and that helps but it takes bout an hour a rim, is there some kind of kit i can buy to polish them up like with different compounds.

basically i need some info on how to make my car look really really good

Here are some tips for a real clean car. If you really want to get the wheels clean, you might want to take them off the car, that way, there isn't the brakes to get in the way. But that takes kinda a long time.

Make sure to polish up all the plastic and the rubber on the car, like the windsheild wipers and the t-top trim.

Make sure to spend some quality time on the inside of the car as well. I like to wipe down all the plastic with soap and water, then go back over with the vacum, and then some polish.

Or you can do what I am going to do and just take the girlfriend father C5, does a red car go faster?

prom is at night!
you can't really tell if the inside of the car is that dirty/dusty, so just vacuum it up a little bit and worry about the outside more than anything.

depending on the color of your car, you'll want to wash it right before so the dust doesn't have a chance to settle on it while it's sitting in your driveway.

for the rims, just use some old muscle [img]smile.gif[/img]
get a brush, and go over them pretty well making sure to get the little spaces, then go over it with the stuff you said you had.

forgot to mention. to get all the black stuff on your car clean and shiny, I use silicon spray. It works wonders.
spray it on a cloth, then go over the black surfaces like the wiper arms, the little triangle black thing by the doors, the grille, etc [img]smile.gif[/img]

yeppers we got her done, damn she looks great, but its starting to rain here, so there goes a lot of work, but for the rims that took the longest, got a can of mothers aluminum polish, and bout 3 hrs of work with a buddy, but it was well worth it, and we did all the plastic with some spray and the tires and waxed it with the gold class, that is probably the best wax i have ever used, it the only wax i have put on my car, and i think ive done it like 5 times with it, definitly the best wax i have used.
