If you get Xenon lights for a firebird, do you need to get a kit or can you just buy a bulb? And if oyu just get the bulb, what bulb, and will it be a big improvement or just change the color of the bulb basically?

*real* Xenon HID lights?
With a firebird you have 2 options.
Option (1):
Goto www.autooptiks.com and buy their 4701 and 4703 sealed beam replacement kits. Then go find some nice H7 bulbs for the highs and lows. Your stock lows are 55W, your stick highs are 65W. I recommend a clear bulb (so that you get the most light out of the bulb and so it doesn't look ricey). I also recommend a 55-70W for the low and a 65-100W for the high. But you can use whatevr bulb you want JCWhitney and Autooptiks both sell bulbs for cheap.
Option (2):
Goto www.tbyrne.com and buy the *real* HID kits he sells. Those are true arc-discharge lamps and will probably melt deer. And yes, they are worth every dollar he sells them for - IIRC theyre $1,000 for the lows and $1,000 for the highs, but keep in mind the bulbs never will die on you and they are the brightest lamps on the market hands down.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

Does that total 2G's??? Imagine the toys you can buy with 2G's... I would only spend that much on HEADLIGHTS when the rest of the exterior was totally complete... body kit, paint, T/A spoiler, honeycombs, etc.Massivefirebird\'s <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/leondb\" target=\"_blank\">(leonDB) Cardomain</a><br /><a href=\"http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/cgi-bin/flowmaster\" target=\"_blank\"> Flowmaster 80</a>, <a href=\"http://www.knfilters.com/\" target=\"_blank\"> K&N FIPK</a>, <a href=\"http://www.jetchip.com/\" target=\"_blank\"> Jet Stage 2 & 180º T/S</a>, <a href=\"http://www.boschusa.com/AutoParts/SparkPlugs/PlatinumPlus4/\" target=\"_blank\"> Bosch quads</a>, <a href=\"http://www.pilotautomotive.com/pilot2dn.htm\" target=\"_blank\"> Pilot 1055 Fogs</a>, <a href=\"http://makotoautotrends.com/\" target=\"_blank\">Clear turn signals</a>, <a href=\"http://www.autoventshade.com/\" target=\"_blank\">AVS rear blackouts</a>... <a href=\"http://www.massiveaudio.com\" target=\"_blank\">2 Massive CW 12\'s</a>, <a href=\"http://www.kicker.com\" target=\"_blank\">Kicker 2252, 652,& 352 XI Amps</a>, <a href=\"http://www.mbquart.com/2003/en_US/home/\" target=\"_blank\">MB Quart</a>.
