My Z-28 is polo metallic green. At first I wanted to totaly repaint it Indigo Blue. I've always liked that color. But after talking to my friend about how much work it would be I decided against it. For it to look good, I'd have to paint the door jams, under the hood, the firewall, and etc. Just too much work. So I decided to leave it green. But I want it to stand out, not in a bad way. So, I'm thinking about doing some kind of flames on it. I'm looking for pics of green Camaro's that have flame paint jobs. Any kind of interesting paintjobs. If you guys have any pics would you please post them or a link. Please make them 56k friendly, :D Thanks
John

a friend of mine has a mustang that is dark green and it has gold flames on it, and i would have to say it is an extremely sharp paint job!

It's a tough decision. Nothing really goes good with green. I don't know about the gold, I'd have to see it in person. I found this pic. It's a Muscle Machines yellow Camaro with green and white flames. It looks awesome. I was thinking yellow and white flames should look good on green then.

Well there's a couple of colors that would look good on your car. I dont think yellow would be it though. Purple looks most excellent with green but you might think that's too "girly'? Silver or a lighter green would look good as well as the gold. I saw a Mustang with gold/purple flames last year. Here's some pics of dark green cars I have seen with flames:

Thanks for the ideas, and thanks for the pics Pewter2k Formula. I really like the way that Trans Am looks. I'll have to print that out and see if my friend can do flames like that. BTW, I started on the body work last night. The car has no, fenders, inner fenders, bumper support, basically everything has been spripped from the front. My friend looked at it really close. What he found wasn't very good, but can be fixed. Other than the frame rails being bent a little the frame right in front of the passenger tire has been bent about 3 inchs over. He said it'd take a day or two on a frame machine to get it straightened out. He told me a guy to call, that has his own shop and frame machine that does frame pulling on the weekends for extra money. He said the guy does good work and is cheap. So, more than likely the car will be at his shop this weekend. After the frame get's straightened out me and my friend are going finish it. Should be a learning experience. I also thought of a project name for the car. Project Born Again. The cars getting a new life, I think it deserves it.

Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
