  • Smokes lenses/ clear corners? with headlight strobes

ok guys im brand new here.... my first message. i've got a 98 sc and an 82 sc. 3.8/2.8 on the 98 i already have a blue undercar kit. (the car is silver)and i'm getting headlight strobes next week for my b'day. i want to go with blackouts in front and back, does anyone know how well the strobes will work with the blackouts? if i dont do blackouts i'll just put on some clearcorners on front and on the reflectives on the back.- if i did this wouldnt it look better if i went ahead with euro style brakelights? i dont like those... ricer style. no. i think the blackouts would look good with the silver and black tint i have but i dont know!!!! somebody help me please!! some opinions
    peace

Hey, I also have a silver Camaro. I am planning on doing the blackouts front and back, then doing the clear lenses on the front corners and the side markers on the back. I have some pics of the blackouts if you want me to send them to you. I do have a 95, so it will be a little different for you. I haven't tried the strobes, but you really can't see much of the headlight through those blackouts, I don't recommend driving with them at night unless you have the highbeams on. Good luck with your decisions, just get back with me if you want those pics.

where are the strobes going to go? in the front?

      or the rear?

The rear blackouts are dark, but light still shines through them. Turn signal, brake lights, reverse barely(but they're small and dim to begin with)

in my opinion, clear corners only look good on silver.

If you got the 98+ Camaro with the new headlights and not the old style like the pre 98's your probably okay to drive at night. but forget it with the old ones. you can't even tell a diff. when you turn the lights on or off while looking down the road with them on.
