  • 98-02 Front end conversion

    Yeah i am thinking about it...Mine is a 95
    tell me what to do...

    options:
    1. FIREBIRD GT GROUND EFFECTS (FIREBIRD F1)

    2. 93-97 TRANS AM FRONT BUMPER + WINGS WEST SIDE AND REAR GROUND EFFECTS.

    3. 93-97 TRANS AM BUMPER AND GROUND EFFECTS ALSO THE BUMPER ALL OEM.

    4. 98-02 FIREBIRD FRONT END!

    WHICH ONE DO YOU THINK IS BETTER????

    anybody has done this before/?? what exactly do i need???i know i need a new hood, fenders and front bumper and headlights... anybody got part #s? what else do i need??? turn signals?? fog lights?? how do i wire them????

    is that hard to do???

        if you've got the money go for the 98+ conversion. I know of at least one guy on here who's done it before, don't remember his name but this topic came up just a couple weeks ago so if you do a search i'm sure you'll find it. speedautomotive sells a conversion kit.

          Id go with the 98+ front end with the Wings West Body kit molded. Looks bad *** !

            That would look very nice! As far as looks go, I like the improvements made to the Firebird a lot better than the improvements to the Camaro in '98. The Camaros still look better '98+ IMO, but they did way more to improve the Firebird's looks.

                After thought about it over and over
                i decide NOT to do the conversion...

                too much work and money involved... just not worthy... a put $1000 plus on a $5000 car just kinda silly. got a awesome deal from someone for a 97 TA bumper... and ground effects. i don't have to do the whole conversion thing and the new headlights are so expensive... just too much...

                anyways, i will do the TA front bumper swap and will post some pics later...

                P.S. i will get a WS6 probably in about 2 years...after my graduation! [img]smile.gif[/img]
