• Anyone else like these?

I was thinking about ordering one or two of these, don't know if it would look bad or not... well I think it would look good, just don't want to look like a poser or anything since I only have the one part from them (CAI kit), but I do plan on getting their Ram Air H.O. hood sometime in the near future. What does everyone else think?

I think those look pretty sweet and just might get one or two for my car. Where do you plan on putting it?

I actually was looking at a 99 TA about 2 weeks ago when I saw them first. It was black, and had one on both sides just behind and above the front tires. They looked really nice on that car (I was trying to get the dealer to work with me on a trade, but it was already under contract and was sold when I saw it, oh well), so I was thinking either there or on the back bumper like in the ad for them.

im thinking of ordering 3 of those badges for my Black Camaro....

one on each side and the 3rd one underneath the right tail light....same spots that Z28/RS emblems go.

hmmm... RICE? Unless you've got some real SLP stuff there, something like the functional hood, some gears, exhaust, headers, or other performance stuff, you're not much better than the mitsubishi eclipse spyder with a hard top and and a huge type "R"(ice) badge.

That's just my $.02 of course, but if you don't really have some SLP stuff there, then it's just a badge. Go for some vinyl stickers and put an big WS6 sticker on your camaro.

of course this is just IMHO, but the topic is "anyone else like these?" so it sounds like you were looking for IMHOs

OK, so I just ordered 2 or the emblems, now my only question is this... how are they applied? Some really strong double sided tape is what I'd assume. Any trouble with them so far Cardinal?

Mine stuck on great, they come with an adhesive backing which is really frikken strong. It just squishes on I recommend cleaning the surface and aligning it just perfect before pressing it on.

Call it rice, its the only badges on my car, and being chrome it looks better than some ford V6 emblem!!!

One day I'll have SLP stuff on my car - currently I just have a thermostat from them so sue me :D

Camera - thats not nearly the best shot I couldve took with the camera, but I took it using a Canon S10

I bought a SLP logo like that a long time ago, but couldn't figure out a cool place to put it so I just tacked it on my tool chest. I like where Cardinal put his though...nice ride Cardinal.

I say, if u have SLP Parts its ok to slap em' on there. I could see if you were throwing them on with NOTHING done to the car. BUT IF there are some SLP parts...i find it reasonable.

Id place em' where the Z28/SS/RS decals are. I see no "rice" in that.

Just dont put a huge sticker across the body panels ;)
