Window Tint %. What do you have?

I was just wondering what % people have for tint, and how it works for them. I am getting mine tinted all around, and was just trying to get a feel for things.

I have 30% tint. Looks nice and still legal here in PA.
Also, you can still see out of your windows at night time without much difficulty.

I have 5% on my Camaro. I don't think 5% is legal but I haven't had a cop say anything yet. Hope they never do. I'd [img]graemlins/crybaby.gif[/img] if I had to remove it.

20% all the way around, not too dark, not too light. Although sometimes I wish it was darker on the rear window to hide my stereo a little better in the day time.

I had 5% all around with a 12" eyebrow. I got stopped doing 102mph in a 70mph. The state trooper had me strip my side windows on the side of the interstate. I still have 5% in the back and my eyebrow (which is illegal). I'm about to retint my side windows to 20% which is still illegal.

Give them time,I had 5% on the back with a 20/15 fade on the sides, took me a year and a half B4 I got caught, but I got caught. My tint guy said the fade is a magnet so I kept the light fade on the rear (Mirror at the top and bottom) at the same 5%, but I went with 20% black on the sides, the rear makes the enrire car look darker without being too bad, this is the best way to go IMO

i got whatever is the darkest legal on the sides with the same on the rear. i plan on getting limo tint for the rear before the summer. it is legal, but cops still give a hard time. i think it will just look real good with a black car.

I think im going to get like 30%.. But I will have to check with the law before I do it!

My rear window is at 8%. That's the darkest that I could get it done in one piece. Went with the same for the front strip. T-tops were done at 20%, so the tint on them looks pretty close to the back window.

Best bet, Your rear is not as restricted as your pass and drivers doors. Plus you get added security for stereo equip.

I've got 35 on the sides and 20 on the back and have no problems at all. I kinda wish that I had got 20 on the sides too, but it still looks good. And try to get the back window done in one piece.

Is 35% too dark for the sides? I want the windows as dark as possible without having a loss of vision that would hamper driving.

I've got 25% all around, I have no trouble seeing at night.
