The Firebird is a stick-on emblem. I took mine off, looks cleaner. If you want a new one you can get it in any Firebird color from a dealer.
the firebird was not an emblem. some might of came with emblems in the middle. aftermarket bumpers might now have the emblems in like 3D and also if you get the bumper refinished if its riped and needs repaired it will not have the bird. you can get a decal but its suposed to have a 3D bird the body color on it.

Yes it was an emblem on the 93-97 Firebirds/Trans Ams. It came from the factory with them. Emblems are:

n.

A distinctive badge, design, or device: trucks marked with the company emblem; the emblem of the air force.

As said earlier, by others, you are wrong. H**l you don't even have a Firebird.
The black Firebird emblem is GM p/n 12514358. They can be gotten in any color the car came in.
If you are going to challange me ( the Site Technical Advisor and Administrator ) you BETTER make sure you are RIGHT first.
Advice to anyone reading replys: Don't take what you are told as "gospel". There is way too much mis-information given in the Forums by people who "shoot from the hip". Wait for several responses, and READ the bio's of the people who respond.

Yes, it is.
Not only is there one on my nose, I have one on my interior, too.

I'm not going to argue what an "emblem" is, but my car came with a raised outline of a Firebird already on it. It was the body color of the car, white.
