• Removing Decals?

When I bought my RS, it already came with decals that ran along the door panels. First, how do I take them off? Second, would I be able to get all of the glue marks off and would there be damage to the paint from removing them?

Third, would there be an outline from the decals from the sun? Anyone who has experience in this area please help me out, thanks.

Well, it's not that hard to get them off. Take a hair dryer and hold it close, but not too close. They'll peel off fairly easily. The glue is easier to get off than the decals. WD-40 works wonders and won't wreck the paint in any way. As for the sun fading the paint that all depends on how long they were on, how much sun they've seen and the colour of the paint to begin with. Won't really know that until you take them off. My advice is to lift a small section to check first.

Andrew,

I tried WD-40 but it didnt work too well (it actually made the whole spot look darker and stand out more)..

Do I have to spray WD-40 on there, and leave it on for a while, then later scrub it off?

This glue from the damn N sticker pouches is brutal.

Use Goo Gone.

Silicuda,
You shouldn't have to let it sit. Butter/Margerine is another good one

I used "tile glue remover" from work and it worked great.
