    steering wheel replacement

    Ive been looking around for a leather wrapped steering wheel to replace mine with. Ive never pulled a steering wheel with an Air Bag before, any tips I should know?

    the other option I cam across was this dude:

    would I need one of the steering wheel hubs that teh sponsors list to mount this? Again, what do I need to know to safely remove my wheel with the air bag?

    i didnt do the labor for my momo wheel..but as far as the hub im pretty sure you're going to need one..i bought my wheel and the GM adaptor hub with it..i know it didnt take them any longer than a 1/2 hour labor so there probably isnt too much involved

      did you get any codes or lights on your dash by disabling and removing the air bag?

        yup..the little red air bag light was on all the time..i just took the cluster out..found the LED that went to it on the back..and pulled it out with a pair of tweezers
