Where a cheep place to buy hoods?

Depends what you're definition of "cheap" is. If no matter what you do you're going to be looking at a minimum of around 700. SLP and maybe only 2 other manufacturers are the only places you can go to get the hoods if you'd rather not go through ebay, and they're all right in the same price range.

Just remember though, you get what you pay for. If you find something from someplace dirt cheap, chances are when you go to trial fit it, it wont line up right.

try vfnfiberglass.com. they custom make the hoods when you order it... and they are very decently priced. i got my functional stingray hood for about 500 i think.

I plan on getting my SS hood from one of the ebay sellers. Make sure they have good feedbacks so you wont end up with a hood that doesnt even fit right.

I would love to have a mecham hood myself but they're expensive and I always here about people having fitment problems.

I have a 4" VFN 98+ Ram Air if anybody is interested for sale or trade. Be careful with the word cheap, Cheap leads to more prep time so you are going to pay the same. about 1-2 hours went into sanding and grinding with VFN.
