if i had a 93-97 firebird i believe i would change the front bumper to a T/A. The v-6 and formula front bumpers those years could've looked better imo. i have a ram-air hood on my 98 bird, it gets mistaken as a T/A all the time but i'm always honest to them about what i have under the hood.

How would it look if I just put a T/A bumper on and no ground effects and maybe the hatch and rear bumper cover from the T/A1996 Firebird-Y87:SLP Cold Air Intake,Y87 Perf. I have the T/A rear bumper and will be adding the T/A rocker panels. The front will stay original. Changing the front makes the car look too much like a T/A.

It's like putting the SS hood on the Z28 or V6s
I guess they're posers too, right?
Badges say "I am a V8" or "I am a V6"
Appearance mods like a new spoiler or bumper don't mean anything besides "My car looks like I want it to look."
The Formula and the Firebird have the same bumper, which is the poser? Neither, cause they have different badges saying what they are. Just like he wants to do with his car.

To everyone: A V6 does not mean it is an RS. The RS was a special edition car, made in Silver or Red (someone once told me a few NBMs were made as well, but I have never seen one) they also have a V6, Z28 exhaust tips, special edition stripes, and 16" Chrome ZR-1s. When someone tells you "I have an RS," be hesitant to believe them, cause there aren't many genuine ones out there. I have only seen two or three in the area ever.

ok, RS's arnt thaaat rare, they'r alot more rare in 98+ than 93-97.
but as far as i'm concerned, any body part, be it badges or whole body panels that comes from the factory on only one specific model, is ment to be model specific, and therefor causes people to think its that model, think how you wish, but its posing in my eyes.RedlineVSix
