  • started pulling the interior today

    http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/673250/8

was bored today so I got a head start on pulling the interior. I am in the process of switching from tan to charcoal. would have gotten a little more done but I don't have any of those star head wrenches so I couldn't get the little odds and ends like the seat belts out.

and I am still looking for silver krylon fusion paint or something like it. any place I can order it online? tried krylon.com but I cannot order it from there. also tried several parts stores and I could not order it online because they don't have silver

The star head bolts are called "torx bits". Your local auto store should have the wrenches for them. I couldn't get one loose before, so I used a dremel and cut a straight groove across the torx bit (for a screwdriver) and then used a normal flathead screwdriver to remove it. Worked great!

Yep they sell a nice set of torx bits... that work with a socket set. At most car stores.

Any idea how much weight all O' that DynaMat adds, all....?? Probably not as much as my 80's-vintage MTX Sub Box, though...heh heh heh

I think the site said 31 pounds for 100 sq ft. not sure though.

EDIT: got thiis from dynamat.com Mass:
0.68lb./ft2 (3.32kg/m2) so its 31 pounds for 50 sq ft.
