• Got my Detailing stuff in.. question though??

Want to Thank Eric and Eric for helping me pick out some good detailing supplies. You guys rock

I picked up Klasse AIO, Klasse SG, pinnacle souveran wax, and P21S wax.

Now reading the directions for the Klasse stuff it would seem this stuff is very temperamental on how much you use. It says for the all in one use like a cap full? and the SG use 2 OZ? How do you guys find is the best way to apply this stuff and know if its even going on. If you have to use very little (dime size) per panel do you see where its on and not? Also I was thinking about doing multiple layers of SG. 2 or 3.

    Let me know guys.

Make sure with the AIO you apply it with a slightly damp cloth or foam applicator, it helps it to spread a little easier. You don't have to do this with SG however.

I apply the SG and AIO with a foam applicator, just a dab per panel will do it. You should barely be able to see it on the paint, this is why you wipe it on then buff off ONE PANEL at a time. Don't do the whole car with SG, you will get the best arm workout you ever had trying to buff it off. A dime sized amount is fine per panel. I use my best judgement on how much to apply. Once it starts getting hard to spread, dab a little more on. It dries VERY quickly so shade is a must. It's wipe on-wipe off so don't worry about much drying time. Give it 20 seconds at the most.

As for P21S, don't let it dry very long. Just give it about 30 seconds per panel and its good. This stuff is VERY easy to buff off, so it will be the most fun part of your detailing experience

Don't have any personal experience with Souveran. It's a carnauba, follow the directions given as best you can.

    Good luck!

There's actually a really good kind of foam applicator they sell at Auto Zone, it has a handle, which is blue, and the surface is black. It's very easy to hold and makes the application process a lot easier and quicker. They also sell them at www.autopia-carcare.com
