  • Converting to Power Mirrors??

Is it easy to convert from manual mirrors to power mirrors? I have to replace manual mirrors due to some idoit who hit them with his door. Should I replace manuals or qwitch to power. If possible can you give an estimate of the cost if I convert?

I have a 1998 Camaro if that makes a difference.

I bought my car with Manual Mirrors and Widows and no Power Locks.

My car now has Power Locks, Windows and Mirrors.

It's a lot easier if you can get the cross car harness - just plugs in under the dash - from a car with Power mirrors.

how much does that run to switch to power mirrors? I have power locks but was thinking about converting to power windows as well. Any prices?

Is there a lot of parts and labor involved in converting my mirrors and windows to power? I already have power doors if that helps with any parts.

It shouldn't be too expensive. If I am thinking right, once you have that stuff, it is just plugging in the harness.

I would check with a junk yard.

Should I go used you think those would be ok or should I go new on this type of stuff?
