  • how do i remove decals?

my brother just got a mazda pick-up and it came w/ a dumb stripe along the side of it. whats the best way to remove the stripe? should we just pick at it w/ out nails or is there something to spray on it that might loosen it?

Use WD40 to loosen it. Be sure to wash it down after.

Or if you have an air powered rubber eraser wheel that'll work. But you probably don't. As mentioned above, alcohol and wd40 should work pretty good.

          Actually.... don't use alcohol.
Get a heat gun (or a hair dryer) and heat it up so that the glue will begin to break down and de-adhere. After that, SLOWLY peel it off. After it comes off, just use some Goo Gone and then wash the area (or the whole car).

Ditto on his method. It has always worked very well for me.
