Well on November 8th I got into a wreck and this is what it looked like.
So after a month of not having the car. Then going through a bad computer problem for another 2 weeks. I did all of the body work except for the paint and here she is!!!
After a good day of cleaning.
Still have some lining up to do but for my first big job I think I did a pretty good job.
Just to think if it were ALITTLE BIT closer you'd have needed a couple of new wheels along with it. But great job, I remember seeing your first post about this. Who did your paint? anyone you would recomend as I need a complete new paintjob...
you did a pretty nice job there. i can see the line up problems youre talking about, but dont worry too much about it. its just nice to see the bird back on the road. good for you!
You're right, I'm glad I didn't need to get some new wheels. That's one of the first things that I checked when I got out of the car.
I got the car painted in the race park here in Race City, Mooresville. Motorsports Image is the name of the place. It's a race car painting place but they do small body and repair. They will do your car you just have to catch them at the right time. They get real busy in the racing off season because they are painting a lot of nascars.
No the hood didn't need to be replaced(dang) I mean...no. I'm glad though because it all had to come out of my pocket since I don't have collision insurance so, it would have been cool to have a ram-air hood but just too expensive. I for sure wouldn't have gotten that new!
I just got the clutch replaced too! Got it back today OMG WHAT A FRUGGIN difference! It's crazy! New clutch, throw-out bearing, master and slave cylinder too cause they were bad. $815 goodness :( I sure am getting my moneys worth out of this car. I will have it FOREVER! Not selling it ANYTIME SOON! That's for sure.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
