Ok, update... I bought some epoxy and patched up the tear below the bolt hole and then bolted it all back together and brush painted it black to match the rubber at that point. It still looks a little distorted at that corner of course, but at least this should keep it rigid. As long as I didn't overtighten the bolts putting it back up to the plate, it should be fine.

I know I sound like a worry wart, but I have been dreaming of owning a Camaro since forever and my goal is to preserve it now that I have one as much as I can. After seeing older Camaros that have been ragged out and abused, my goal is to care for this one so that later on down the road it is as beautiful as the day I bought it. This includes the parts I can't see. Straightening things out is not a big deal, but keeping it all intact and rigid is a big concern.

Well, guess what.... I took the car in to get a flat fixed and they handed it to some kid to fix and he threw the jack under the tab and started to lift. Before I could stop him, the tab bent yet AGAIN this time breaking the fender at the tab. The shop owner gave me his card and said he would call the insurance guy. So, how long do you think I should wait for this guy to get back to me? I called him a few hours after it happened and he said he hadn't heard back from them. A day later and still no word from the shop. I'm fixing to go up there and get the info for myself. Any suggestions? This shop one way or another will pay for the damages.... I'll make sure of that.

Call your own insurance company to come out and make a claim against the shop. You'll get another fender out of this and blending of the hood and door panel. Your insurance company will simply get their money back from the shops insurance carrier.
