No Shirl. I would bet large sums of money, the "Anti Rice, Clean Camaro" gang would still be up on his case regardless of what his thread title was. Do a search on it. Anyone on this board who posts pictures with anything out of the norm gets gang banged for it. God forbid people get rims other than ZR1s or Corvette, and spoilers other than the SS spoiler. The fact that he's a "NOOB" and not a hardcore battle veteran of this website is irrelavent and no excuse for people to post meaningless, negative comments.

the point is that the majority of fbody owners seem to agree on a certain kind of look. so ofcourse if you post pics of your car on a board where the majority of people dont like the look you're going for you're gonna catch flak for it. This board isnt here for people to get props for their car no matter what it looks like. you shouldnt expect people to hold your hand and tell you they like you're car even if they dont.

In my opinion the car is not tastefully done: I have a distaste for black rims on a black car and the spoiler (disregarding any "rice" comments) ruins the body lines of the car. It doesn't make the car look "mean," only tacky, especially with no twin tailpipes in the rear. Ditch the spoiler in favor of your stock one or an SS and get some ground effects.

The majority thinking one way doesn't mean the minoritys' way of thinking is incorrect. If this were the case, we'd still be living in the stone age and no one here would be driving their precious cars to begin with. Thinking with the minority doesn't warrent bashing. No one wins a car show by looking exactly like everyone else. This is an appearance forum, it's good to do something to set yourself apart from the rest. He asked for opinions on what people thought and what he should do next. People thought the spoiler was ugly and should be removed. He stated he liked it and it wasn't going anywhere, that should have been the end of it. Instead the comments continued. It's overkill and ignorant. You have to draw a line somewhere.

In my opinion, its not a bad looking camaro. I agree with the majority of the people about the spoiler, not my taste nor do I think it looks mean. This is off topic but if you want to see a real, mean looking spoiler, then go look at a Superbird.....theres an idea for ya....lol

thanks a bunch DIABLO. he is right. it should have stopped after a few spoiler comments. I dont give a crap what you think. I like it. I think everyone in the world putting on ss spoilers is stupid. I like my vehicles to look like no one elses. And since 99% of you dont like this spoiler my car will be really unique. I admit that some bashing was a mandate by certain people. but what I got was ridiculous. The few of you who said oh just get some gfx, were giving constructive criticism. The rest were just bashing because my car doesn't suit your tastes. It wasnt meant to. It was built for my enjoyment. I changed my car specifically not to look like everybody else. so thanks to all who defended my right to do what I want and for those who offered "constructive" criticism.

Its a forum, open for discussion. IMO the people were discussing the dislike/terrible looks of his wing. The people were talking about appearance, and who says you have to have 8000 body mods to even post in an appearance forum???? NOBODY.
