Welp, I started to paint some of the pieces in my car!! Here are some pics of what I have so far..

It's not completely finished, in one of the pics I think you see a piece missing on the door, it's because painting it as well and it wasn't ready to be put back in yet. I think it looks pretty good!

how did you prep the the items being painted?

washed them with soap and water, then wiped over the surface I was going to paint with paint thinner

Just enough to look nice...now quit. Too much red will look tacky, but (I think) it looks nice "as-is" now. Good Job!

Too much red! Yeah right..lol. I like your paint job. I'm known for painting too. I'm too broke to get stuff professionally painted so I've been doing everthing myself and kinda got carried away but I like it and don't care what other people say. I think if you remove the little latch on the glove compartment (help in with 2 bolts) and you paint that small peice red, the look will be complete.
