  • Rust in rear quarter

In my fender wells in the rear quarter panels, there is a crap load of rust, today i sanded it all down to see that the two ends of the sheet metal in the fender well lip, have alot of rust formed between them, and i was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get that out or if need be how i could seperate the two peices.

Best advise I can give is sand it down the best you can and spray a good primer on the metal. Even a anti-rust paint at home depot will do. Just get something on there to prevent it from spreading.
The only way to seperate the quarterpanels from the body of the car is to cut them off. I don't think you want to go that route.
