Ok, I have a 99 V6 Camaro and I had put a wings west spoiler on it. Now, I know that like nobody likes this spoiler on a Camaro, but I do. I lot of people tell me all the time to put an SS spoiler on it. And, I thought about it,and I do like the SS spoilers, but my car is not an SS, it RS. That would be really stupid to put an SS spoiler on a V6 Camaro, would it?
i have both the SS functional hood and the SS spoiler..however..i have farely bold "3.8L V6" emblems on each side of my car..it would look stupid if you put SS badges on it..but if you leave it saying "RS" then you're letting people know its a V6..and that you just like the SS styling..i love it..thats why i went with it
I also just put a GM SS hood on mine, and I'm getting a wing soon (I think the wing thats similar to the RK sport wing, but its not as tall). I'll take pics when its done.
Mine also has 3800 badges on it, and I'm getting decals made that say 3800 Series II to line the slope of the scoop on the hood so there is no second guessing it.

^yeah if you're gonna go with a high rise wing thats the one to go with IMO ..i know theres a bunch of sites out there that do this but you should check out vinzdecals.com ..i have very good business with them..they let you create any decal and let you choose font, size, and color

yup lol ..and the cool thing is that from far away id assume people just think its a V8 ..its only when people get close enough to read the decals that they will know its a V6 ..mine are a bit more bold because i want spectaters at the track and stuff to know its a V6
Holy crap people!!!
NOWHERE in his post does he EVEN refer to putting SS decals on his car. The whole post is about changing his high-rise wing to an SS spoiler.
YES! You should go with an SS spoiler. NO it won't look bad.

and nobody is saying that he did..he asked if it would look good..we're saying the only way it WOULD look bad is if he DID put SS emblems on..which means..as long as he doesnt do that..it'll kick @ss
CAMAROWIDBASS-yeah, I like you car and the spoiler on it, and I think I will keep my spoiler for now. SS Spoiler is nice, but I will keep this one for now.
Thanks for your answers
