for those of you who were interested in the leds tha dark echo was setting up that i recently purchased to see if i could carry the project a little further the problem was found that the lights themslves seem to dim when the headlights are on. after a few reviews of this since i dont have the factory headlights i have the autooptiks conversion kit. the problem to me seemed to be the foglights themselves. becasue of the color of the drl's the foglighst being an off white yellowish color. it just made the miss match that much more noticeable. to make a long story short i tried to figure out a way to turn the foglights into led lights asking superbright led for an idea or perhaps help or a suggestion for that matter they replied in short "we can't help you" i then went so searching and was brought back to their site into the truck section where they sell a 4" 30 led light. given the measurements im almost seeing that as a sign from god lol. anyway i want to see if anyone else thinks this could be a good or bad idea comparing the price it is similar to getting a better set of foglights only i know what these will look like. the closest thing to simulated hid you will ever see. your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated since i am considering gettting new foglights anyways i would be happy to be a guinea pig if anyone else thinks its feasable. or just plain stupid

i say go for it! i mean, fogs dont have any second filaments and im sure the socket that it usually goes to can just be wire-spliced to your fogs (that way you can leave the sockets in tact incase u ever want normal fogs again) mounting will probably the most difficult part
