• Need ideas for detailing the engine bay

I need some ideas for detailing the engine and engine bay. I already have some chrome valve covers and I'm getting a billet aluminum with black bowtie TB plate (I have an LT1 TB). I need some other ideas like painting the engine, jet hot the pulleys and what nots, and other cool ideas. The colors I want to use are Red, Black, and White.

Red wire loom. I put it in my engine bay and it looks pretty sweet. Just pull off the black, replace with red, and tape the ends.

Paint the hood struts. Get a colored strut tower brace. MSD ignition wires (they're red). Red MSD ignition coils (they're red) or coil interface modules (they're red) if you don't want to spend too much on coils.

    Check these out:

I already have MSD coils, with interfaces, MSD DIS-4 and red Spark plug wires. My BOV, Wastegate, and pipe connectors are also all red. I was thinking of going with a black STB, and using black wire loom. I think I might paint the raised 3.4 liter on my manifold black as well.

Isn't the stock wire loom in the engine bay black? I don't know about the 3.4, but I know it is for the 3.8. What would be the point of taking off the black wire loom to put on black wire loom?

I would stay with red for the loom white. And you should paint the top manifold black or somthing.
