Paint scheme and hood graphic

My 94 camaro is black right now except for the nose and fenders which are new and primed black. I am planning on painting the car in the spring and want red and black as the scheme. How does black paint with red fleck sound? And I'm not really a huge fan of stripes but would another type of hood graphic be over doing it? (It is the standard camaro hood)

The paint sounds nice, and with an SS hood, it'll look super nice!. Even if you kept the stock hood, a set of red hockeystick stripes would look good with your paint. Just accent some other items in red, such as; Calipers, lug nuts, interior items, etc. It'll bring out the paint a bit more. Just don't over-do-it with red accents. Keep it subtle.
