There was an article in GM high tech about the block and it shows how to check and see if you have it or not, but all '01-'02 cars have the intake.

It all depends on what she wants to go with, rear wheel or flywheel. She has the dyno graph to back it up if anyone ever asked. I dont see the point in changing it. With 330 or 335 she would just be pulling #'s out of the air since they are over her rwhp but way under the flywheel.
