• can a Rear Seat delete look pretty?

I am thinking of removing the rear seats 1. weight reduction, 2. excuse not to give people rides, 3. for something new looking...

But i know that when i removed the seats before, you can still sit quite comfortably in the back, and obviously the seatbelts would stay so i can still transport people if necessary. I am thinking of maybe making a black leather seat pad that can sit in there to hide the ugliness but still be able to be sat on... like a partially flat seat... i duno just an idea, what have you guys done to hide the ugly hole and bolt area? remember i want it to remain open and seatable.. thanks!

there isnt much weight to lose back there in fact most of it is probably in the seat belts unfortunatly. anyway take a look at the interior section of my cardomain its shows what i did with mine since i have the milhouse box i used the flap that covers the trunk and the t top covers and floor matts to cover my amps till i get my rack done which im going to start as soon as it quits raining

i think they look good removed. my idea was to have a matching carpeted boxed made to take up the whole space to make it look like a real two seater with extra storage space

I remember someone with a white anniversary edi. used I think 3-4 sheets of thick carboard, painted it white, and put some plexi glass on top for some cool light effects....but, ok you contradicted your self,

                      lol

im saying its an excuse to say "oh sorry i dont have seats" even if they can still sit there comfortably.

i want to keep it seatable, so no sub boxes and those things on ebay would be awesome if i didnt want back seats. but i do ... so maybe ill just get some stock carpet and fill the hole

BlackByrd, what kind of paint did you use to accent the trim pieces? The paint looks came a lot nicer than my speaker grilles.

Jest leave the seats there. They weight almost nonthing. Jest push the two front seats all the way back and tell them there is no room back there.
