heh, I speak through other people...but he ya jing-a-ling or whatever has the exact same one...make sure to get a hella ballast, they seem to be the best out there, and all self contained. Oh and bulbs are 9000k...general rule (lower the number=brighter the bulb) but it wont have that cool little blue tint though now will it ;)
oh and ebay has a bunch floating around, just be careful about what you buy. and as for those things under my hood, im guessing your talking about these



well, thats just some sheet metal from home depot...basically it was a failed attempt at hiding some wires under the hood that I had ever so "neatly" heh, sprawled underneath the hood particularly in those areas...they looked like trash, so they went in the trash...dont waste your time...clean your wires up and dont be a lazy a$$ ;) If those arent the things your talking about then disregard everything I said and assume that the message will never blow up.

edit: one more thing, if you do buy the hid's dont power them from your stock light harness, I found out the hardway that this will ruin, actually smoke your ballasts...dunno why, but it does, run 12v through a 12v relay and fuse it, or at least a thermistor, or some kinda circuit breaker.

ahh well im making mine out of plexiglass the templates i have made look good so hopefully the finished product will look even better thanks nikon

the only thing I can think of that will make it look better is if you join it in the middle...fill in that big gap like I have in the center...it might look good then...good luck.

i dont have that as much since mine is a firebird i do see what you are talking about mine start at the front of the intake and go back to the fenders

keep in mind that the hood has to latch down there....im not sure if there would be enough room to put stuff... i like the way that looks on the camaro, althoug its kinda too much.. but maybe on a firebird it will look better since the headlights take up some of that space... keep us informed blackbyrd!!! i would love to see this, maybe i can buy the templates from you once your done?

sure i might post pics on of the templates cause its gonna be a while now that school is starting
