Well my buddy Steve told me monday that he wanted to sell me his 1997 Ford Mustang Cobra. I know I know MUSTANG, but it is so SAAHWEEETT. It definately had the muscle to back up the look!
(Here it is a couple days ago)
Well today during first block he texted me and said he got into a wreck! He was going around a blind curve at around 35, speed limit was 45. A lady pulled out from a driveway, that was in the blind curve, in some big a$$ truck(who the heck puts a driveway in the middle of a dag gum blind curve???). Steve couldn't stop in time. Totalled his car pretty much.
He had only had it back for around a month. Had a new paint job, new wheels, front and back lights, new side skirts for side exhaust(sweet), new rear right quarter panel and everything was over 4500. He bought the car for 8500.
A friend of his was driving it about 3 months ago and decided to screw around in the rain and layed it into a guard rail after spinning 180, while getting onto the interstate!(So he was facing south with the cars heading north! This was after crossing two lanes of traffic and not getting hit head on!) His friend payed for the body damage and Steve got the rims from another friend because two were totally shot from the wreck. (That friend that wrecked it definately is not a friend anymore).
O-well I guess that was a sign. Below are pictures of the car that were taken less than a week ago. Even though it is a mustang it is definately one of the sickest Mustangs that I have ever seen. I would drive it I know that. I hope Steve gets through it.
Show some sympathy for it being a mustang please. Alot of time, hard earned money(every penny for the car and for anything else was paid by HIM no parents nothing...insurance, car everything), and sweat was put into this car. Some of the sweat being my own. We put upper and lower intakes, pullies, wires and plugs on during Thanksgiving, right after he got it back the first time.
Travis.
Here's my boy Steve after two long months without his baby. Now forever.
