Has anyone tried waxing their tires with shoe polish? If so, any luck?

WHOA! That's as bad as someone polishishing their car with Pledge Furniture Polish...not good, at ALL! Neither of the polishes are made for a vehicles finish.
They make carwax for a reason. I honestly wouldn't try anything else, but it's your car.

Heh he said tires not paint. I've never tried it, I just stick with eagle1 wet tire shine.

Sorry, turned out to be a good night for me, and I was seeing double when I got in.
        My apologies...
