so i looked up how to remove the aVs on my rear blackouts, and loads of ppl said to use nail polish remover, so i did it, very small bit, (my mum's vitamin E rich nail polish remover), but i now have a dull area where the nail polish remover was rubbed on.
what will work to get rid of this, would goo gone be good, or anything else?
It won't look like that for long! Mine looks even now. I rubbed too hard on my right cover, but it's all but faded already. The harder you rub, the worse it'll look at first, but after a week it went away. Trust me.
thats really good to hear, i was worried for a second there, and i have to say that i've notcied getting more and more less noticebale, the more time goes by, and the more i wash my car
The Acetone in the nail polish is bad for plastic :( ....eats through it. You should try the 3M Fine Cut Rubbing Compound if it doesnt go away like the others said.
