  • are the rear fenders different for 93-97 and 98+ firebirds?

    what the title says or are they the same? im in the process of fixing a 94 bird with rear damage and need to know before i buy parts.

    i think the 98+ fenders are a little bit bigger.

    current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

            The only difference between 93-97 and 98-02 Firebirds (body-wise) is the Front Fenders, Bumper, Headlamps and hood.
            The same differences between Firebird/Formula's and TA's apply (i.e. Rear decklid, bumper etc)

            The same is true for Camaro's

              ^yup...from the exterior thats the only difference..that and i believe they started using the three-color taillights in 97

                need tail lights for that 94?

                  On Camaro's yes. Firebird's of course didn't get new taillights until 98, and these were the beautiful Honeycomb items. The Honeycombs were standard across the entire Firebird lineup rather than on 93-97 where the Base Model had more basic units than the V8 models
