anyone done the autoptiks headlight conversion

well, i just called sylvania to see if they had a silver star bulb for firebirds, but of course they don't cause that would make it too easy and too cheap . oh well, has anyone ever done the autoptiks conversion for our cars? it only runs at 3800K which is about 200K short of the silver star, but i figure if it looks white i'll do it even though it costs two times as much as the silver stars. if you have done this post a pic or email it to me with the email in my sig. thanks

i got the 100W H7UH light for both high and low beams....damn they are bright. there is also a 35W replacement bulb for our fog lights.

hey magic do you have any pictures with your lights on? what kind of h7 bulb did you put in them once the conversion was done? i wanted to try to do this and then change the wiring harness on the car so that i could put in 9006 and 9005 silverstar bulbs, but if i can see a pic of yours on that might keep from going to so much trouble if i like your bulbs. thanks. if you can't post a pic just email it to the address in my sig

i've taken pics in the past, and honestly the lights really don't get the same effect on pic. But trust me get the conversion kit, and the H7UH 100w lights and you will like them. Only down fall, is when it rains and the ground gets wet, you can't really see the lights on the ground, but they look good and are bright
