  • Dying your seats and interior??

I saw this mentioned in a post a while back and never really thought to ask about it. Anybody here dyed the seats or interior of your car? I didn't really know that was possible. I have light grey cloth interior and would love to have all black interior. Is it possible? Carpet and all?

ive thought about doing this as well but i would do it differently. at a local auto store, strauss auto, they have black fabric to recarpet the floor for about 40 bucks and it will fit the whole car. also another roll of fabric meant for the ceiling, 20 bucks a roll. as for the seats, black seat covers. i think it would look a lot better done this way. but then there is that damn back seat, how are we supposed to use seat covers unless buying a custom set for like 200 bucks???

I was wondering about this also. I hate the tan interior on my car and want black. Couldnt you just slide rear seat covers over the back seats? I've seen sets on eBay, I'd think the seatback would fit fine. The seat bottoms could maybe be cut in half and just sewn in under each seat maybe?

Looks cool. So how much did it cost and where did you go? Did you just have the seats dyed where it is red? I want my whole interior dyed black and my carpet ripped out and have black carpet put in. Think it's worth it?

driver's seat has started to fade though. i should have put the seat covers in the washer first to get rid of the dirt.
