Painting Rims???

is it possible to actually paint your cars rims and have it look good??? i want white rims but dont wanna spend a hell of a lot on them. maybe powder coating??? i dunno. all i know is i dont really wanna buy a whole new set of white rims.

I know that they have powdercoating kits for around $150, but you also need an oven that can fit the wheels. This also involves alot of prep work. Or you can get them professionally powdercoated, but I'm not sure on the prices.

powdercoating up here is pretty cheap. I was calling around looking to get a STB powdercoated and they said they would do it for a 12 pack of pepsi. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

My parents own an iron furniture/spiral staircase & railings company and they take a $hitload of stuff every week to get powdercoated..

i asked the dude how much it would cost to get my old salad shooters powder coated black, and he said next time he has the oven fired up just bring it down and he'll paint it free!

so it cant be THAT expensive to have $hit powder coated [img]smile.gif[/img]
