Sup? I've had my clears since summer of 2000. Half a year ago I replaced the driver's side cause I cracked it. Now I will be replacing the passenger side cuz the DRL bulb blew and burned a hole on the bottom of the lens. There was also water in both lenses and they both blew out.
On the stock corner lights, the little rubber cap was never removed so when I installed my clear corners, I left that rubber cap in place. Removing the cap reveals a little hole, that I assume is suppose to let moisture out.
My question is, are you supposed to remove the little rubber cap??
I think that could be the reason why I got water in there, that or maybe my lens was not water tight. If so, then why did the stock lenses have the little holes still capped??
Either way, I will be removing the cap, just wondering if I was supposed to do it in the first place. Also worry about dust getting in there.
