• Unfastening a peice for painting

On the door where you control the Driverside/Pass. Side windows and the door locks - how exactly does that peice pop out to be painted? Can it even? I got it unfastened but theres a housing connected to it FULL of wires and I didn't see a way to unfasten it - does it have to be painted from inside the interior, and just tape everything off?

Just curious

The buttons are held in by tabs which lock into the piece from the bottom. You can pull it out enough to work on it, so pull it out some. Take a *small* pocketknife and on the edges gently begin to pry it out. Don't try to jerk it out because you will break off the pieces where the tabs hold it in place.
This is pretty much it
Let us know how it goes.

I took your advice and put on a few coats of clear coat on the peices I have already done and it does look a bit more smooth/shiny.
Back outside to work!
