    I've tried the Meguiars claybar and most people agree it's a piece of crap. I use ClayMagic but I've also used Mothers and it's great too.

    It might not make a huge difference on a brand new car, but it doesn't hurt. If you want to keep it looking brand new, clay it every six months or so depending on where you live and how much crap is in the air. I live by a refinery, so I get a lot of crap in my paint and I need to clay more often.

      Acutally....if i remember right, they say that it can be real bad on a new car. Simply because alot of cars arent shipped with plastic on them. Since most come from long distances by train, there can be alot of contaiments on the paint from. Ive heard that somewhere just cant remember where. Besides...wouldnt hurt to try it.
